Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer with the Moore County Historical Association and help bring history alive! Our doors are always open to friends interested in donating their time and energy to our mission. We offer a range of volunteer opportunities accompanied by ‘hands-on’ training to make your experience enjoyable and satisfying. The Association offers many ways to get involved with our programs, exhibits and special events.

Volunteer opportunities include:
- Serving as a docent (tour guide) in our house-museums
- Scanning historical materials
- Planning and installing future exhibitions
- Assisting in mailings and other clerical duties
- Working on fundraising committees
- Searching for and/or writing grants
- Visiting older residents and recording oral histories
- Baking cookies for special fundraising events
